The culmination of the Carnival Week is the Grand Parade around the streets of Eastleigh. This has always been a colourful and exciting event for both the spectators and entrants to the carnival.
We will be lining up in Grantham Road, by Grantham Green, and backing round into Nutbeem Road. Vehicles will need to come into Nutbeem Road from Derby Road to get in to position. The Procession will head towards the junction with Derby Road where it will turn left in to Derby Road and follow the usual route. We will also be moving off at 6pm prompt. If you want to get involved and help raise money for local charities then please fill out an application form which can be obtained from the link below.
If you need ideas or materials to make a costume please contact Stuart Jebbitt at the Southampton Scrapstore. Tell him it is for Eastleigh Carnival and he will give you stuff for free to make your costume.You can email him at southampton.scrapstore@virgin.net
We are looking for entrants from a wide variety of classes, you may be a single walking entrant or a group who want to dress up and enter a float. It is free to enter.
