Grand Procession, 13th August 2011

Classes 1,2,3,10 and 11 should report to the green by the children’s play area at the

corner of Parnell Road & Grantham Road for judging.

All entries must report to the procession organiser whether entering for judging or not.

Judging will start at 4:45pm

Class 1 (child) Decorated manually propelled cart or cycle McArdle Trophy

Class 2 (child) Individual fancy dress, walking – up to 9 yrs old Foster Shield

Class 3 (child) Individual fancy dress, walking 10-14 yrs old A. Stephens Cup

Class 4 Walking Groups (consisting of 2 or more of any age) Lorraine Trail Cup

Class 5 Individual Fancy Dress, walking over 14 years Allan Wilmer Memorial Trophy

Class 6 Comic Tableaux Angela Holidays Trophy

Class 7 Descriptive Tableaux Ivill Cup

Class 8 Decorated Cars / Motorcycles Charles Sharp Cup

Class 9 Undecorated Trade Vehicle Carnival Medal

Class 10 Visiting Queens / Carnival Courts Hibberd Challenge Cup

Acknowledgment of entries will be sent after the 6th August 2011, unless an email address is given.

Eastleigh Carnival collecting boxes / buckets will be issued before the procession starts. In

order to comply with Local Authority regulations only sealed boxes / buckets issued by

Eastleigh Carnival Association may be used during the procession.

At the end of the procession please promptly return all boxes / buckets to: The Masonic Hall

(Corner of Leigh Road and Cranbury Road) located opposite the viewing platform.

The amount you have collected will be counted and will be acknowledged as soon as possible.
