2010 is the 123rd Year for Eastleigh Carnival Association, we hope this will be one of its best ever.

For all you Thunderbird fans, FAB 1, driven by Parker,

will be making an appearance in the Procession.

This is something not to be missed.

With the generous support of the people of Eastleigh, Eastleigh Carnival Association gave away goods to the value of about £4,000 last year.

CARNIVAL WEEK 2010 - Photos will be put on the site during and after Carnival Week.

The Carnival Court  will be travelling to Germany on Friday 4th March 2011 with Angela Holidays. They will take part in 3 carnivals while there. If you are interested in joining us there please visit the website www.angelaholidays.co.uk for more information.

Our main charity this year is the National Autistic Society, Hampshire Branch. We will be giving away allocations of gifts again this year, if you want to apply please click here to go to our allocations page

One of the first events for the year was to choose a new carnival court to represent the Association during the year. This year the event was held on Friday 16th April 2010 at the Eastleigh Railway Institute. The Judges had a very difficult job but they chose well. The Queen is Danielle Bennett, aged 18, and the Princesses are Bethany Winlove-smith, aged 12, and Chandler Bennett, aged 12.

Eastleigh Carnival Association has been organizing carnivals in Eastleigh for over 100 years. The Association has two main aims: to organize a week of popular activities for young and old, which culminates in the popular Saturday procession, and to raise money for local charities and voluntary organizations, please see our Allocations page.

Activities range from Fancy Dress competitions; 

to the Children’s Dog show which is held during the week

  and even if it rains we still have fun ??

The week concludes with the Grand Parade around the Streets of Eastleigh. We have marching bands, walking tableaux’s and vehicle based tableaux’s.
